Founder Brent Reihana was an entrepreneur from an early age, starting his first business in the lawn mowing industry when he was 11 years old. During school years, he ventured into a broad range of professions, including martial artist, milk-delivery man, musician, stylist and sales associate in a menswear store. Somehow in amongst all this he managed to attend school enough to have a certificate bestowed upon him. He put himself through university (first round) by refurbishing and selling Triumph Heralds. After university, Brent tried his hand at football in Europe and Australia, and finally embarked on a career in the hospitality industry: in 5-star hotels, owner-operated pubs, cruise line operations, travel agents, tour companies and travel marketing companies, he was able to climb the ladder from filing clerk to management. After 22 years in hospitality he felt a new challenge and a change of direction is in order: while completing an MBA at UTS, Sydney, held on to the end of a jack hammer, wheeled fish at the Sydney Fishmarkets and manoeuvered heavy trucks in all directions around Sydney. Lifelong learner, more recently Brent has gained Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and begun his final studies towards a Juris Doctor degree which will enable him to practice Law. Throughout his career, he has been passionately involved in various community projects. He has participated in student protests, worked with disadvantaged youths and volunteered in sports groups. He has started a language school and a business network, and continues to serve on the committee of a culture and language association on the Northern Beaches. Brent currently lectures entrepreneurship and marketing at undergraduate and post graduate level.
